We are thrilled to attend Sundance 2024 with two new films selected in the World Dramatic Competition !
Filmmakers Astrid Rondero and Fernanda Valadez, whose previous feature IDENTIFYING FEATURES premiered at Sundance in 2020 and went on to awards and critical acclaim, co-direct for the first time with SUJO.
In this story of a young man grappling with the sins of his father, the duo beautifully captures the glimmer of hope that can free someone from the cycle of generational violence.
IN THE LAND OF BROTHERS is the first feature directed by Raha Amirfazli and Alireza Ghasemi. Their story takes place in their native country, Iran, the host of 5 million Afghan refugees.
