Fernanda Valadez and Astrid Rondero went up on stage Saturday night to be presented with two Sundance World Competition awards: the Special Jury Award for Best Screenplay and the Audience Award: World Cinema Dramatic! These two prestigious prizes, sure to be only the beginning for the accomplished film, represent both its artistic merits and the undeniable impact it has had on the festival audience.
